At EveryoneNY, we support people with intellectual and developmental disabilities to live connected, independent, meaningful lives. Our services are tailored to each person’s goals; at home, in the community, and in our program sites.

DAY HABILITATION (WITH AND WITHOUT WALLS)

Build skills. Make friends. Explore your community.
Our Day Hab program helps the people we support grow in independence through daily activities, learning experiences, and community involvement.

Focus areas:
Travel training, Social & communication skills, Money & time management, Job readiness, Self-advocacy, Volunteering

Schedule: Mon–Fri, 8:30–2:30
Locations: Brooklyn (Sunset Park and Brownsville) & Queens (Glendale and Middle Village)

COMMUNITY HABILITATION

Skill-building at home and in the community.
We work one-on-one with people we support to build practical, everyday skills; while also guiding families and caregivers.

Skills may include:
Healthy living, Home & personal care, Community safety, Budgeting, Social skills, Functional academics

Supports adjust as needs and goals evolve.

IN-HOME RESPITE

Support for families. Stability for the people we support.
Respite gives caregivers time to recharge while a trained, compassionate staff member provides care at home.

We use natural learning moments, enjoy activities, and support daily routines; keeping people safe, engaged, and comfortable.

SITE-BASED RESPITE

After-School Respite & After-Hours Respite

A safe space to unwind, connect, and learn. (Ages 12-21 for After-School & 22+ for After-Hours)
After-School Respite is offered on all NYC school days from 3–6 p.m., out of one of our Day Habilitation physical locations. This program blends recreation, socialization, homework help, and skill-building.

After-Hours Respite is offered Monday through Friday after Day Hab program ends. This program blends recreation, socialization, community integration, and skill-building.

Recreational Respite

A safe, social space to relax and have fun.
Site-Based Recreational Respite offers the people we support a welcoming place to connect with friends, enjoy structured activities, and explore hobbies while caregivers take time to recharge. Each session blends recreation, socialization, and creative experiences in a supportive, supervised environment.

All services are offered throughout Brooklyn & Queens
